What are three traits you think great leaders possess? What makes you a great leader?

For me, great leaders are people who have the ability to get others fired up about their vision, the tenacity and diligence to achieve it, and the humility and respect that allows them to embrace and work with differing opinions and perspectives. Such people are a real joy to work with. And that's the kind of leader I want to be.

What does gender equality mean to you?

It means for me the same starting line, rules of the game and rating for both men and women. A state where a person is judged on their performance and potential, not on their gender. And this without taking the male-female energy out of the relationships.

What advice do you have for young women who aspire to pursue careers in STEM fields, based on your own experiences?

Go for it! In the STEM fields, you can be part of amazing new discoveries and literally save the world.

Is there anyone that inspires you in your career?

There are two people who inspired me a lot: Sir Nicholas Winton and Tomas Bata.

Sir Nicholas Winton applied a business and marketing approach to a completely unimaginable subject: children threatened with death by the Nazi regime. He saved over 600 of them, and if the war had started one day later, there would have been over a thousand.

Tomas Bata was an entrepreneur with an enormous vision who not only completely changed his entire industry in terms of both production and business, but also devoted great efforts to the development of the region in which he worked and of his people.

If you could have dinner with three inspirational women, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

With Marie Curie Sklodowska, Amelia Mary Earhart and Mother Teresa. I believe we would have amazing conversations about vision, passion and life.
